Ways of Giving
Have you ever wanted to be a part of something larger, part of God's vision and dream, which takes in the whole world? It's a rewarding experience!
You can become partners in our mission or to support our Sisters in retirement with a financial gift or by remembering us in your will or with other bequests.
Here are ways you can support us:
General donations: annually, bi-annually, monthly
Matching gifts: Ask your employer about whether they match charitable donations. You could double your gift!

Special appeals or projects Check back from time to time to see if we have a special appeal or project such as our porch renovation project.
All Souls and Christmas appeals
Every year, the Sisters of St. Joseph mail out two appeals.
- All Souls Day and All Saints Day on Nov. 1 and 2. We ask you to give us names of your living and deceased loved ones so we can pray for them at a special Mass. We send out this appeal in October.
- Christmastime We ask for your support during our annual, Christmas appeal.
If you want to give to us at those times, and you don’t receive an appeal in the mail, please contact us. We send out this appeal in mid-late November.
- Enrollment cards
Enrollment cards to mail to your relatives and friends are available for all occasions. The cards tell them they have been enrolled in the CSJ Prayer Ministry and that they will be remembered by our Sisters in Masses and prayers.
- Novena cards.
Before Christmas, you can order Novena cards to send to your relatives and friends. The cards will let them know they will be remembered in a special Novena at Masses in the Sedgwick Cedars chapel from December 16-24.
- Cards in memory or in honor of a loved one
Make a donation in honor or in memory of a loved one; give a wedding anniversary or other special occasion gift of prayer. We will send that loved one a card from you.
- Birthday, anniversary, graduation, wedding cards
On your birthday, suggest to family and friends that they celebrate your age by donating the dollar amount that equals your age. We will send them a thank-you and send you a birthday card! You can also send others a birthday greeting with one of our cards, as well as other occasions such as anniversaries, graduations, weddings, etc.
The front of each card depicts one of several stained glass windows in our Sedgwick Cedars chapel. Each card carries a verse on the inside suitable for the occasion you need, space for adding your own personal message.
Let us know the type of occasion and the name and address of the person to whom to send the card.
